The West Fresno Chess team hosted a Regional Chess tournament on Saturday, January 20th. Schools from throughout the Central Valley came to West Fresno to compete against the award winning West Fresno elementary, middle school, and high school teams. West Fresno has a long and proud tradition of producing tournament level chess players.
Washington Unified Tournament Winners:
The West Fresno Elementary and Middle School teams won second place overall. Washington Union High School’s team also took home a second place win!
