Washington Union High School is proud to announce that 4 teachers and 13 students were accepted to Fresno State’s Reachable History and Civics Teaching and Learning Project.  Each year, 50 teachers and 100 students from throughout the greater Fresno County area are chosen to study a topic from American history.  This year’s focus is Native Americans, the environment and Yosemite National Park. As part of the project, students will attend a week long summer camp at Fresno State and then participate in a 3 day study trip to Yosemite National Park alongside graduate students and history professors from Fresno State.
