The Washington Unified Board of Education recently passed Resolution No. 19-1, a resolution proclaiming the District’s commitment to ensuring a complete count of students and families during the 2020 Census.
A complete count ensures adequate funding for schools, roads, hospitals. child care centers, senior centers, fire departments and other community resources. The census helps fund your child’s school and resources for their success. By participating in the census participants can help determine how over $675 Billion in federal government resources are allocated each year.
Beginning March 2020, every household is encouraged to complete a census form (either online, mail or phone). With your help, we can ensure an accurate and complete count for all.
