The Washington Unified School District would like to thank the Tzu Chi Medical Foundation of Fresno and the WUSD Migrant Program for their generous donation to our families. 60 families attended an outreach event held in the WUHS cafeteria on December 7th.
WUSD Migrant Liason, Ramon Mendoza, was excited to help coordinate the event with the Tzu Chi team. “264 migrant parents and students received warm blankets, jackets, and pantry bags due to the generosity of the Tzu Chi team and the WUSD Migrant Program,” stated Mendoza.
WUSD thanks Tzu Chi Medical for their continued support of the students and families in our community.
