October was National Bullying Prevention Month.  According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, “Bullying affects all youth, including those who are bullied, those who bully others, and those who witness bullying. The effects of bullying may continue into adulthood.”  In order to prevent the harmful effects of bullying, West Fresno Elementary School designed a fun and engaging educational program to help educate students about how they can prevent bullying at school and at home. One of the activities provided was a poster contest!

The contest was sponsored by Fresno Concrete Construction, Inc.   We are grateful for their support of West Fresno Elementary School! According to WFES Principal, Sandra Aguilera, “All of the poster entries were fabulous and the judges had a hard time deciding.  Congratulations to all contestants!”
