Dear Washington Unified Families,
This week, the Fresno County Department of Public Health notified our district that the COVID-19 case rate in our county has dropped below 25 cases per 100,000 people. WUSD has been cleared to begin Phase II: Blended Learning for students in preschool through second grade (PK-2). As a result, we will begin bringing PK-2 students back to campus beginning March 2nd. On March 9th, grades 3 – 5 at WFES and grades 3 – 6 at AU will be able to return to campus for blended learning.
Site Principals will be contacting families with specific information about student cohorts and days for in-person instruction.
We will continue to provide free daily meals for children and mental health supports for all students. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need help.
