On October 12th, American Union families joined together with staff and community members for an evening of food, fun, and games at the American Union Harvest Festival.  Bounce houses, crafts, and a silent auction were just some of the favorite activities from the evening, which attracted students and their families to the campus.

On Friday, October 26th, West Fresno Elementary School will host its annual Trunk-or-Treat. This popular event will be held on the school’s blacktop and students and their families are invited to participate in an evening of trick-or-treating and games. The cost is $3 for adults, $1 for students, and children under 5 are free.  Washington Unified is proud to provide families with opportunities like these to promote parent and family engagement.
