Washington Unified is proud to congratulate the West Fresno Middle School band students who auditioned and earned spots in the Fresno Madera Counties Music Educators Association Junior High Honor Band.
Directed by Band Instructor, Jeffery Jacox, the students competed against 145 students from throughout Fresno and Madera counties to secure one of 75 spots.
Riberto Dominguez , Luis Castillo, Cesar Santiago, Jayden Elliott, Emiliano Aranda, and Obrian Sierra represented Washington Unified.
WUSD also recognizes 7th Grader, Riberto Dominguez, who was chosen as 1st Chair for the Trombone section of the Honor Band, where he will lead 7th and 8th grade students.
