How do we monitor student progress?
WUSD uses a leveled assessment system to to assess progress towards mastery of grade level standards. Throughout the year, students will participate in district created benchmarks, common grade level assessments, and teacher-created assessments in order to monitor progress and inform teachers where intervention is necessary.  Data from these assessments are analyzed through Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) on a regular basis to inform instruction.
