Fresno County Spelling Bee
Four students represented Washington Unified School District on March 15th, 2022 at the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools 27th Annual Spell Off at Clovis Veterans Memorial District.
At the Elementary Oral Competition Elsie Brittsan (6th grade) and Emma Pineda Gutierrez (6th grade) from American Union placed 9th and 5th respectively. Christian Valencia (7th grade) and Fabian Pineda Gutierrez (8th) from American Union both placed 10th at the junior high level.
35 students at the elementary level and 32 students at the junior high level competed. Overall 20 districts from the valley participated. Congratulations to all!
